The County of Orange County is hereby announcing its intent to contract for Medicaid Compliance Reviews.

The County of Orange is committed to maintaining the program integrity and combating fraud, waste and abuse, either by providers or recipients of Medicaid benefits. Many factors have contributed to the rapid growth of the New York State Medicaid Program, and subsequently the share that the County of Orange must contribute to the programs rapid growth. Ensuring that these rapid cost increases are not a result of fraud, waste or abuse is the primary goal in the development of this Request for Proposals.
