Summary of Specifications:
The successful vendor will provide a custom built, mobile command post trailer for use by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. The trailer shall be in accordance with the specifications as listed in this document.The vehicle will be used as a mobile command center in the field of emergency operations, and will therefore be subject to extreme conditions. It is expected that this trailer be built to exceed commercial standards for a vehicle of its type. In addition, all components of this trailer shall meet or exceed DOT, FHWA and all applicable agency standards in accordance with the various statutes governing this purchase. The vendor may have to provide proof of compliance.
