Summary of Specifications:
Orange County conducts an annual marketing campaign to promote the county’s tourism. The goal is to bring as many people to the area as possible by attracting them with graphically pleasing advertising and brochures. Estimated budget for 2008 is $200,000 inclusive of all design work, ad placement, production, commissions, fees, and related tasks. Funding for the program comes from New York State, Orange County Government, and the private sector. All advertising and promotional programming adheres to I LOVE NEW YORK rules. Additionally, other departments within Orange County Government may require similar work that would be accomplished within the scope of Tourism’s contract, but billed separately to that department. All questions on this RFP must be answered in the order that they are presented. Any omissions may be cause for rejecting the proposal. Selection will be based both on creativity, originality, tourism experience, and cost effectiveness. The lowest bid will not necessarily be the one that is chosen. Contract runs from date of award through December 31, 2010 with an option to renew for an additional two years at the same rates.
