Summary of Specifications:
The County of Dutchess is seeking professional service proposals from qualified firms to provide workers' compensation and NYS General Municipal Law 207c (NYSGML 207c) claims administration. The quality of claims administration is of great concern to the County. The County has a self-insured program that began in 1980 and currently covers employees of the County, Community College, Resource Recovery Agency, four towns and one village. There were 401 open claims as of December 31, 2006.
