Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County is seeking the services of an independent health insurance benefits consultant to provide guidance for a.) compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), b.) advice on plan design strategy and the financial implications concerning remaining fully insured or to adopt a self-insurance program for the County, and c.) the feasibility and projected costs of offering a fully insured or self-insured program to municipalities in Dutchess County. We are interested in exploring the health insurance options for Dutchess County and our local governments using the model of shared services and focusing on wellness and preventative care.
