RFP-DCP-13-08 - Furnish Food Svc to Inmates & Staff at the DC Jail

Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County is requesting proposals from all qualified vendors for the provision of furnishing food service to include inmate and staff feeding seven days a week and program support services for a maximum population of 320 inmates. The Vendor will be required to meet all requirements of the New York State Commission of Corrections Minimum Standards and the American Correctional Association. Average Daily Inmate Population: 264; Average Daily # of *Non-Inmates: 120 (*Non-Inmates are Civilian and Uniformed Staff) The Dutchess County Jail, located at 150 North Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 is a 22-year-old facility that operates a full service kitchen, and currently utilizes civilian labor. In addition, the facility operates an Officers Dining room (ODR). Ample storage space is provided to the Vendor for dry goods as well as fresh/frozen storage.
