The County of Dutchess is seeking a fully approved and licensed contractor to receive, package, manifest, load, transport, and properly dispose of electronics (E-waste). Dutchess County is planning three (3) County-wide Electronics Recycling Events (Events) to coincide with household hazardous waste collection, scheduled for a yet to be determined date in May, June and September at a location in Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., or until the last participant is served, whichever comes first. The purpose of these events is to provide Dutchess County residents with an economical, convenient and environmentally sound disposal option for their unwanted or outdated E-waste.
