Summary of Specifications:
The County of Dutchess is engaged in extensive alternative to incarceration and intensive supervision programming designed to hold offenders accountable while insuring community safety. The Dutchess County Office of Probation and Community Corrections currently has an effective and long standing radio frequency (RF) Electronic Home Monitoring System in place for the enhanced supervision of certain juvenile and adult offenders. Probation Officers assigned to the EM unit operate and respond 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. County policy and contractual obligations require that this system be placed out to bid at this time.
