RFP-DCP-16-03 - Child Abuse Prevention Program

Summary of Specifications:
The Dutchess County Department of Social Services and United Way of Dutchess County announce a funding opportunity for the Dutchess County fiscal year 2004 Child Abuse Prevention Program. Child Abuse Prevention Program services are targeted at youth who are at a significant risk of being removed from the home and remanded into placement. Placement may refer to removal to a foster home, or to the custody of the State Division for Youth (DFY) or PINS (Persons in Need of Supervision), etc. The lead agency must be a legitimate 501 (c)(3); however, we encourage collaborations with schools, neighborhood groups, recreation and social organizations, government agencies, the private sector, faith based organizations, etc. It is our intent to award up to three one-time grants to an array of geographically and culturally diverse recipients that meet the qualifications outlined.
