Summary of Specifications:
The County of Dutchess is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and actuarial firms for actuarial services necessary to implement the provisions of Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements nos. 43 and 45 concerning "Other Post Employment Benefits". The County's annual revenue exceeds $100 million, thus we are required to implement the provisions of GASB 43 and 45 with our fiscal year ending December 31, 2007.
