Summary of Specifications:
The City of Yonkers is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the Remount of up (4) complete 2008 Ford F550 4x4 extended cab mini rescues. The sole purpose of this vehicle is to be used by the Yonkers Police Department Emergency Service Unit. This Unit is responsible for handling many types of police heavy rescue operations including medical emergencies, water rescue, high/low angle rescue, police haz-mat, motor vehicle accident extrication, police tactical situations, emotionally disturbed persons, and high-risk warrant executions. During times when ESU teams are not involved in such incidents, they perform normal preventive patrol duties.
