The City of Yonkers (the “City”) is soliciting sealed technical and cost proposals to select one or more Operators to provide for a publically accessible shared micromobility program as part of the Yonkers E-Mobility Transportation Program. The City of Yonkers launched the first dock-free shared bike and e-scooter programs in the New York City Metro Area, offering residents and visitors a new affordable and convenient transportation option that supports healthy activity and reduced emissions. The program was established as a pilot during which bike and e-scooter operators were selected to operate each program. As the bike pilot program has expired and the e-scooter pilot program will soon expire, the City is seeking proposals from qualified operators that demonstrate experience designing, building, operating, maintaining, managing, and marketing a modern micromobility system through a network of publicly accessible human and/or battery-powered bicycles or scooters (“vehicles”), or other approved modes of micromobility transportation.
