Summary of Specifications:
The City of Yonkers is seeking a vendor to provide tire recapping service for the City’s vehicle fleet. Tread type shall be Good year “Gripper” or equal, subject to Yonkers approval, Pickup and delivery must be made to the Department of Public Works – VMD at 1130 Nepperhan Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10703 within two days after receipt of notice. The discount shall include the cost of two (2) minor spot repairs (cosmetic on outside of tire); repair of all nail holes up to 3/8”; and one major section replacement. All prices are net F.O.B. destination, including pickup and tailgate delivery. The contract term shall be two (2) year period from the time of award. Contract term may be extended for an additional year with the concurrence of both parties.
