Summary of Specifications:
The contract provides an additional source beyond the existing City of Yonkers Department of Public Works (DPW) Snow Removal Program. Upon notification from the City of Yonkers DPW Agency, the contractor shall assist with the removal and hauling of snow piles throughout the City as well as vehicle towing. Prospective contractors shall quote a firm fixed hourly rate for providing service to include equipment, an operator, standby time, and mileage at any time during an emergency including holidays. The bid will be awarded as a multiple contract on an as needed basis for the 2012-2013 cold weather season.
