Public work contract for the Saw Mill River Road Improvement Project. Contract limits are Ashburton Ave. (south) to Richmond Place (north). Includes curbs, sidewalks, paving, drainage, traffic, and water improvements.  PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE: $ 4,277,000.00 

FUNDING FOR THE PROJECT COMES IN PART FROM A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION and is administered by the NYS Dept. of Transportation (PIN 8103.31). On this project, the FHA has set the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal at 7% of the total contract value. Bidders are advised to use the Registry of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises maintained by the DOT. The Registry can be accessed at http://biznet.nysucp.net/. 

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: 10:00am on June 24, 2008 at the City’s Purchasing Dept. office. Prospective Bidders are encouraged to visit the project location and submit any questions about the project prior to attending this pre-bid conference.
