RFP-328A - Property Tax Lien Title Searches-In Rem

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Yonkers is seeking proposals for furnishing technical, non-exclusive, professional services consisting of providing title searches identifying the name and address of any and all entities with an ownership interest as well as each recorded mortgagee, lien holder or judgment creditor as listed in the City of Yonkers lien records, County Clerk's office as well as the Office of the Surrogate of Westchester County, as set forth in NYS Real Property Tax Law §1125 and Section C19-33 of the Code of the City of Yonkers. The City should also be advised as to any lis pendens, mortgage foreclosure or tax lien held by any other taxing authority. The City may have an estimated 200 properties on the in rem list each year, subject to increase or decrease in that number. As an additional option, the City is also seeking proposals for title insurance.
