Summary of Specifications:
The City of Yonkers (the City) is seeking a qualified and competent Vendor to operate a food and beverage concession at the Edward J. Murray Memorial Skating Center, located at 348 Tuckahoe Road, Yonkers, NY 10710. This Vendor shall provide all labor, supervision, and materials required to operate and maintain the concession at no cost to the City. A guaranteed flat fee is the City’s current proposed method of payment for leasing the facility and has proven to be easy to audit. The compensation received under the current contract is $5,200.00 per year.
The Vendor shall be required to execute a standard City Vendor License upon notification of award. The license term shall be for a period of three ice skating seasons. Each season will begin on October 1st and conclude on April 30th of the following year. You will not be obligated to provide food service from May through September. Summer events will be negotiated separately. The three year contract begins October 1, 2008 and concludes April 30, 2011.
The Vendor shall possess a minimum of three (3) years’ prior experience in the operation of a Food and Beverage concession and/or similar related business.
