ITB-dc-5549 Spec Shelter Use - Installation of Sanitary Force Main and Water Service

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Yonkers is seeking bids from qualified vendors to furnish and install approximately 1675 lf of 1 ½” diameter high density polyethylene (PE) force main. PE main is to be connected using the butt fusion method; furnish and install two (2) sanitary manholes; pressure test the installed sanitary system; connect system to existing sanitary sewer with 6” DIP sewer pipe and “Sealtite” saddle; furnish and Install approximately 30 lf 8” Class 56 DIP water service line and 8” gate valve. Make wet tap into existing 16” water main. Perform pressure test of complete length of service line.
