RFB-en-5552 Inspection, Testing & Repairs, as needed, for DPW Aerial Devices (Buckets & Trucks) The intent of this specification is to secure a source to inspect all aerial devices and make repairs, if necessary, with the Repair Superintendent's approval. All aerial devices shall be inspected annually. Vendors may bid on inspection and repairs to individual aerial devices or they may bid on inspection and repairs to all aerial devices listed on Bid Schedule of Prices. The contractor shall test articulated booms and telescopic booms to applicable OSHA, ANISI, Federal and New York State Standards. The Contractor, Sub-Contractors and their personnel shall be certified to the appropriate standards. A Certificate of Inspection shall be provided when the unit has successfully met all of the required criteria. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the required test, inspections, and repairs. Bidder must be an authorized by the manufacturer to service the units they are bidding on.
