Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of upgrading traffic signal equipment at various intersections throughout the City of Yonkers (approximately 33 locations). The project shall include model 330 cabinet & base replacements, model 2070 controller installations, LED vehicular signal installations, LED countdown pedestrian signal installations, pedestrian pushbutton replacements, vehicular and pedestrian housing and bracket replacements and span-wire disconnect removals.
The work to be done under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary and required to install: LED traffic signal heads and assemblies, LED countdown pedestrian signals and assemblies, 2070 controllers, 330 stretch cabinets, traffic signal sections and brackets, pedestrian signal sections and brackets, “Bulldog” pedestrian pushbuttons.
The work to be done under this contract also consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary and required to provide maintenance and protection of traffic as per Federal MUTCD with NYS Supplement. The work to be done shall be paid under and shall conform to the guidelines set forth in the New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications of May 1, 2008, including any Addendums.
The time for completion of this project is 180 consecutive calendar days.
This is a federally funded project and as such shall follow the NYSDOT Procedures for Locally Administered Federal Aid Projects. Please read carefully the Federal Requirements “Package A” and “Package B” included with the bid documents and return the required forms with your bid.
