Summary of Specifications:
The project involves constructing an 800’ long river diversion and riverwalk at Larkin Plaza, between Warburton Avenue and Buena Vista Avenue. The work involves removing approximately 180,000 sf of sidewalk, asphalt parking lot and hardscaping; constructing a 46’ long x 36’ wide x 16’ high concrete intercept chamber; a 38’ long x 36’ wide x 13’ high concrete confluence chamber; and a 22’ long x 19’ wide x 13’ high netting chamber with removable nets; approximately 950 lf of stone faced retaining wall; a tidal pool, a daylight and settling pool; 140’ long pedestrian bridge and abutments; 18,000 sf concrete pavers; 40,000 sf concrete sidewalk; 4,000 lf granite curbing; granite stairs and planting; 6,000 sf wood decking; 51,000 sf new full depth asphalt pavement; 1,000 lf new storm drains; 1,400 lf new sanitary sewer; 27 manholes; 17 catch basins; architectural sight lighting; lampposts, benches; an irrigation system and extensive planting.
