RFB-5789 - Convert City Vehicles from GAS to Propane

Summary of Specifications:
Bid 5789 – Convert City Vehicles from Gas to Propane - The City of Yonkers (“the City”) is seeking bids to provide all labor, materials and equipment for a Comprehensive Propane Conversion Package including four components: 1) install EPA certified “bi-fuel” (propane/gasoline) Propane Conversion Systems in twenty (20) City fleet vehicles; 2) install a skid-mounted propane refueling station installed at DPW Vehicle Service Center, 1130 Nepperhan Avenue, Yonkers, New York; 3) implement a training program in the operation, maintenance and repair of the propane conversion system for up to (10) City personnel; and 4) a two-year propane fuel supply contract. Bidders are required to submit with their bids, complete documentation / technical specifications describing the proposed conversions and refueling equipment.
