ITB-5673 Ashburton Garage Repairs - Ashburton Parking Garage - Repair & Preventive Maintenance

Summary of Specifications:
Work includes: 600 SF full depth slab repairs; 450 SF partial depth slab repairs; 1000 LB structural steel framing repairs; 150 SF CMU repairs; 2 stair tower repairs; 1 new drain system; 160 LF new expansion joint seals; 1000 SF painting of structural steel framing; and striping. Bid requirements: 5% bid bond; 100% performance and payment bonds; New York State prevailing wage (Prevailing Rate Cast #2011010015), plumbing and electrical contractors must be licensed by Westchester County. This is a re-bid of ITB-5661 which opened November 16, 2011. The City rejected all bids because the low responsive bid of $339,300 exceeded the City’s budget for the project. The revised plans include reductions to the full and partial slab repairs, reduction of drains from 2 to 1, and reduction of structural steel painting area from 2000 to 1000 SF. the drawing have been revised to reflect these changes.
