The City of Watertown, N.Y. is seeking sealed bids for the resurfacing of the canal spillway wall, removing all of the debris in the canal, and replacing the trash rack in front of the intake to unit number two. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described, as per City specifications. All interested parties are to submit their bids to the City’s Purchasing Department, Suite 302, City Hall, 245 Washington Street, Watertown, N.Y. no later than 11:00 A.M. local time, Thursday, March 19, 2020, at which time all bids submitted will be publicly opened and read.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked:
“2020-02 Hydro Plant Canal Maintenance Project”
