The City Of Schenectady, Office of Affirmative Action is seeking proposals from
NCCER Certified Instructors to provide 125 hours for the Core Curriculum;
The proposal is to offer the training for 15 to 20 students.
The instructors are required to complete the NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program to ensure the highest quality of training
Based on the Accreditation Guidelines.
Instructors Must:
Be approved by the Training Centers of New York State, As the accredited sponsor,
Successfully complete the NCCER Craft Instructor Certification Program taught by Master Trainer.
Scope of Service:
Deliver the NCCER 125 Hour Core Curriculum to 15 to 20 students that have been selected:
The course includes Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to hand and Power tools, Introduction to Construction Drawings, Basic Rigging
Basic Communication Skills, Basic Employability Skills, Introduction to Material Handling, OSHA 10, OSHA 30
