Project Summary: The scope of the work consists of removal of south playground and construction of a new concession building with split-face block walls, metal roof and soffit, and painted metal doors. The interior of the building includes: toilet rooms for men and women; concession space with a rolling stainless steel shutter and counter; a storage room for tennis court equipment; mechanical space that has a backflow preventer and mop sink. Limited areas of asphalt sidewalks will be replaced and in some locations widened to accommodate service vehicles. Metal bollards will be located to deter usage by general traffic. A concrete sidewalk will be installed on all four sides of the building for access. Limited areas of asphalt and curb are to be replaced within the right of way to allow installation of utilities.
