The City of Poughkeepsie (CPoK) is seeking proposals from urban planning firms or other architectural, planning or development entities to serve as the Planning Coordinator to create a Transformation Plan as defined in the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative Planning Grant NOFO for the Northside neighborhood in Poughkeepsie, New York, focused on the area inclusive and surrounding two Poughkeepsie Housing Authority sites, Thurgood Marshall Terraces and Martin Luther King, Jr. Garden Apartments, and the city-owned park between the two developments. Planning services will include in-depth community input at all stages, and the development of conceptual and actionable plans that reflect the City’s goals around maintaining families in
their homes, increasing home ownership, and creating mixed-income developments with many levels of subsidy. CPoK intends to consider qualified firms that possess the professional capabilities to provide the services listed herein.
