Description

Contractor to demolish the three (3) story wood structure and dispose of all materials and debris. There is an attached asbestos report, which all contractors are encouraged to read and fully understand.
The foundation walls are to be removed twelve (12) inches below grade.
The sewer lateral is to be grouted shut and the water terminated in the street.
The basement floor is to be broken up for drainage and the site is to be backfilled with WELL DRAINED COMPACTABLE SOIL (this area will become a paved parking lot), and topped with shale tailings or other suitable/similar cover material.
All NYSDOL guidelines must be followed
Contractor will pay PREVAILING WAGE RATES.
This is NOT considered an emergency demolition.
