Sealed bids will be received by the Owner for asbestos demolition, site clearing and site restoration.
A “mandatory” pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the offices of Delta Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, & Landscape Architects, DPC (860 Hooper Road, Endwell, NY). The pre-bid meeting will consist of a project/contract discussion (at Delta Office) followed by onsite inspections of the project site.
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM, Wednesday September 3, 2025 at the Broome County Land Bank Corporation, 60 Hawley Street, 5th Floor, Binghamton, New York 13901, at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud.
No proposals will be considered unless it is accompanied by a bid guarantee, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the total work to be done. At the option of the Bidder, the guarantee may be a certified check, bank draft, negotiable US Government bonds (at par value), or a bid bond approved by the Corporation Counsel. Certified check or bank draft must be payable to the order of the Owner. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The Bid Guarantee shall insure the execution of the Agreement and the furnishing of the surety bond or bonds by the successful Bidder, all as required by the Contract Documents.
The Broome County Land Bank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract in the best interests of the Broome County Land Bank.
Electronic “.pdf” version of the Contract Documents and any applicable addenda’s are available through the office of Delta Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, & Landscape Architects, DPC.
Contract for work under this bid obligates the Contractor, Subcontractor and any Sub-subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices.
Successful bidder shall begin work on approximately October 1, 2025 and be substantially completed on or before October 24, 2025.
