Description

Alfred University is accepting bids for the inspection and servicing/maintenance of fire extinguishers on our campus. We estimate that we have approximately 1,000 fire extinguishers on our campus that are a combination of 2.5 pound, 5 pound, 10 pound, and 25 pound units. The extinguishers are located across our entire campus in spaces including but not limited to athletics facilities, facilities services buildings, administrative offices, dining areas, educational spaces, and student living spaces.

Questions and requests for clarification can be submitted through this system, or emailed directly to Melissa Badeau (badeau@alfred.edu) until 4PM on Monday, October 6, 2025. Responses will be sent out as an addendum to this bid notice by 4PM on Friday, October 10, 2025.

As stated, proposals must be submitted electronically through this platform by 4PM on Friday, October 17, 2025.
