Summary of Specifications:
The Albany County Sewer District is Requesting Bids for Preventative Maintenance Atlas Copco Aeration Compressors North and South Plants. The Albany County Sewer District Owns and operates two (2) wastewater treatment plants designated the North Wastewater Treatment located on Canal Road in the Village of Menands, NY 12204 and the South Wastewater Treatment Plant located on Church Street in the City of Albany, NY 12201. The secondary treatment process at both plants is activated sludge and each plant supplies diffused air for this process using Atlas Copco HA-9 single stage compressors. Preventative maintenance to be preformed is schedules "A to C" for one compressor at each site. There will be a Pre-bid conference held on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 10:00a.m. at the Districts North Plant Administration Building located on Canal Road in the Village of Menands, NY. This is the only scheduled conference all interested bidders are urged to attend.
