Summary of Specifications:
1.1 The County intends to retain the services of one or more qualified individuals or law firms to provide cost effective, result-oriented legal representation to the County, it’s officers, officials and employees in the areas of : 1.)LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW (DOES NOT INCLUDE negotiation of collective bargaining agreements with unions); and 2.)GENERAL MUNICIPAL DEFENSE (representation and defense on claims and litigation filed against or threatened against the County to include but not be limited to; personal/bodily injury; property damage; civil rights) Proposals may be submitted on one or both areas of legal services. The successful proposer(s) will be required to work closely with the County Attorney, insurance carriers, claims managers and investigators assigned to each claim or case, as necessary, in the sole discretion of the County.
