Summary of Specifications:
Albany County is seeking bids for Hauling and Placing Asphalt Concrete On Various County Roads & Misc. Paving. The work includes: Hauling and placing asphalt concrete on County roads in various towns throughout Albany County, or as directed by the Commissioner of Public Works, or his representative. Alternate #1 - The work includes: Production milling of an existing parking lot and placement of an asphalt concrete top course as per plan. Pavement striping is also included. Alternate #2 - The work includes: Resurfacing of the zamboni waste area as per plan. Plans, specifications, and bid proposal forms may be obtained at the office of the Albany County Purchasing Agent listed above. A $100.00 deposit and a $5.00 service charge are required for each set of plans and specifications furnished to prospective bidders. Two checks shall be made payable to “Director of Finance, County of Albany,” one for $100.00 and the other for $5.00. The $100.00 deposit will be returned to those bidders who return the plans and specifications unmarked with the bid, or within 30 days of their bid submission. Unmarked includes in good, reusable condition with no marks from food, pencil, or highlighters of any sort. Plans will be shipped via Fed Ex only and recipient will be billed shipping costs.
