Summary of Specifications:
The Albany County Department of Social Services is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide employment and related services for its clients who are in receipt of Temporary Assistance and food stamps subsidies. Required services include job readiness training, job placement and 90-day retention. Program objectives are to increase social services clients' self-sufficiency and to reduce their dependence on public assistance. A pre-proposal conference will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Albany County Department of Social Services, 162 Washington Avenue, Room B18-B19, Albany, NY 12210. Interested proposers are urged to attend.
