Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project includes site improvements for utilities, service access, parking and landscaping. The renovated building must obtain a LEED Silver V.4 certification. It will also need to meet security standards for ROTC installations as required by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) has completed a Needs Assessment, to guide the design and construction of the Project, which provides goals for the project, details about previously requested square footage for each ROTC branch, plus features and amenities desired in the renovated building. All building service support spaces for information technology (IT) and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP) will be provided per UNM Standards and Guidelines. UNM’s goal is to incorporate sustainable green features to the greatest extent possible even though, per Governor’s Executive Order 2006-001, this building is to be certified as LEED Silver by the USGBC.
