Specifications include, but are not limited to: Handicap Ramp Demolition and Re-Build 1. Demolish an existing handicap ramp, transport debris to an approved location, save rails and porch covering for re-use. 2. (After exterior wall repairs) Install a new handicap ramp assuring ADA and other life safety code compliance. Ramp to be made of (description). Reinstall porch supports and safety rails. Building Improvements 3. (Once existing handicap ramp is removed- access to the exterior stem wall, floor, wall system is exposed for the replacement of approximately xx linear feet of termite damaged wood flooring and walls). Replace damaged wood on flooring and wall system with treated substitute materials. 4. Replace exterior panels with similar materials, seal and weatherproof. 5. Replace insulation with R-XX insulation wherever the replacement walls were installed. 6. Replace interior drywall, tape, texture and paint to match existing interior colors. This includes new trim and baseboards. 7. Inspect ceiling grid system at uneven or visibly damaged areas. Repair or replace grids, install new ceiling tiles. Inspect and report any water damage or any other conditions that warrant repair or replacement. 8. Install a commercial grade exterior door with a handicap door opener. 9. Prepare all exterior wall siding, seal all seams and openings with quality exterior caulking material. Paint the complete exterior walls with a high quality exterior paint (color to be determined by staff). 10.
