The proposed geotechnical study will provide detailed analysis of the roadway pavement failure area as listed (milepost 0.82 to milepost 1.25). The Engineer shall be responsible for all studies, modeling, analysis, coordination, engineering, and other activities needed to complete this Study. This includes, but is not limited to: • Location and Topographic Survey • Geological and Geotechnical Scoping Reports: The following recommended geotechnical laboratory testing for this project are as follows: - Particle Size distribution (Gradation) - Atterburg Limits (LL, PI) - Moisture Content - Specific Gravity - Consolidation Test - Swell Test - Unconfined Compression Test of Soils - 50 ft. boring depths spaced at 200 ft. each (can be combined with pavement borings) • Preliminary Drainage Study and Report; • Pavement Design • Phase I-D: Preliminary Design • Phase II: Final Design
