• Ditches/Canals Inspections and Assessments: Inspection of all drainage ditches and may include but not be limited to, field data collection, storm drain video inspection, closedcircuit television (CCTV), and GIS. Inspect for ditch conditions including damage and defects, flow control, dewatering, capacity, conveyance, excess vegetation, and integrity. • Detention/ Dry Basin Inspections and Assessments: Inspect for damage or defects of culverts and inlet/outlet pipes. Check for erosion on slopes, embankments, and headwalls. Inspect for dirt/mud, gravel, rubbish, refuse, trees, weeds, green waste, sediment, and debris. • Inspection methods for all components of the city drainage system may include but not be limited to, field data collection in manual or mechanical form, storm drain video inspection, close circuit television (CCTV), and GIS. • Prepare job proposals for requested work with details to include but not be limited to, pricing, unit of measurement (tonnage, linear feet, acreage, yards, feet, inches, miles, etc.), recommended treatment methods, and estimated time of completion. All approved job proposals will be issued as task orders in chronological order. • Utility Locates: Prior to the beginning of any excavation and construction activities, all underground utilities (gas, water, sewer, electrical, communication) are expected to be located through the appropriate agencies by the selected contractor.
