In general, the scope of this contract shall be to furnish all labor, plumbing materials, tools, equipment, and supervision for plumbing services at various County owned and/or operated buildings within the boundaries of Dona Ana County, New Mexico on a time and materials basis. Work will be accomplished by issuing a Task Order under the Price Agreement. Plumbing services for all Dona Ana County Buildings shall be on an “as needed” basis for all County buildings. • Plumbing to include but not limited to water, gas, or sewer repairs back flow repairs and testing. • Parts shall be invoiced at the contractor’s cost. • The contractor shall include a copy of the parts invoice for service. • The contractor shall comply with and perform all plumbing services in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, ordinances, codes and manufacturer’s instructions. • The contractor shall obtain any licenses or permits required under this RFP to do the specified work. • The contractor shall conduct all work during normal working hours, 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, unless approved by DAC staff unless it’s an emergency. • The contractor shall commence and end all services on the same workday unless approved by DAC staff in advance. • The contractor shall only utilize trained and experienced employees to perform the work on DAC buildings. • Background checks may be required. • Upon completion of the work, Contractor shall clean up the areas where the work was performed. At no time shall the contractor discard debris into the county’s’ trash container.
