Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Liaison administers organizes, and implements film activities. Liaison will be responsible for attracting and secure key industry contracts and bring film productions to Otero County. They will function as the liaison between film production companies, municipalities, and the public. The Film Liaison will oversee all activity between Otero County and film production companies. Obtain all the necessary permits and inspection for film companies as needed. Work with the City of Alamogordo obtaining street closures, permits, parking needs, police assistances and street closures. Work alongside the film companies providing neighborhood notifications as well as post-site inspections. Answer all solicitations from Film companies about Otero County. Agree and provide that all reports, telephone records and correspondence will remain the property of Otero County Knowledge of: Current film, video, and digital media production and technical needs Federal, state, and local ordinances, rules, permits, regulations, and policies used in productions. Knowledge and application of marketing, media sources, public relations. State and local agencies, resource, educational opportunities, and programs. Skilled in: Analyze and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands in an organized manner Written and verbal abilities to address multiple audiences to include public speaking before various professional, public, and legislative bodies. Personal computer use, social media, program. Building collaborations with local, state, and national media entertainment organizations, businesses, and academic/training institutions.
