RFP-20-3 - Chaves County Courthouse Historic Window Replacement

According to Drawings and Specifications prepared by NCA - Architects and described in
general as:
A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the
following:
1. This project consists of removal of window sash at first and second floor levels
and complete removal of windows at basement, third levels and dome. Installation
of new sash and associated hardware and first and second level and installation of
new insulated window units at basement, third and dome. Contractor is
responsible for all field measurements and field conditions. Daily business
operations shall not be interrupted by construction activities.
2. No demolition of windows or sash units will take place until window or sash
replacement units are on site and demolition/installation work can be completed
without any opening being exposed during normal business hours.
3. Bidding structure includes the following:
Base Bid – Sash replacement at all windows on first and second levels and
complete window replacement at dome structure as indicated on construction
documents;
Additive Alternate #1 – Complete window replacement at third level as note on
construction documents;
Additive Alternate #2 – Complete window replacement at basement level as noted
on construction documents
