Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is accepting proposals for the following transportation services. (1) All District Routes (home to school to home). (2) Students with Disabilities Routes (including the cost for providing a minimum of one (1) bus attendant for each bus operating a route transporting students with disabilities. Some routes may require two (2) attendants. There are approximately 21 monitors at this time.) (3) Alternative School Routes (4) Before school, after school, summer school, intercession, field trips, athletic activities trips, extra curricular and special events trips (5) Operation and maintenance of District-owned seventeen (17) activity buses (6) Lease for additional buses to supplement the District activity buses (per bus cost) (7) Transportation Services as required by the District The Contractor shall maintain and operate the staging area where the school bus vehicles shall be parked. The Contractor shall provide for the training of the drivers according to SDE and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) policies.
