Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Mescalero Apache Tribe seeks proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide the following, 1. Update evaluation of the existing Mescalero Tribal solid waste management system, 2. Develop a preliminary engineering assessment of potential transfer station sites, and 3. Identify other disposal and waste stream reduction options. Recommendations derived from this study will be used as the basis for modifications to the Mescalero solid waste management system. It is expected that the study shall provide definitive results that will allow the Tribe to determine program direction and shall serve as the basis for seeking additional funding for project implementation.
