Architectural and Engineering Design Services: • Conduct programmatic verification of completed planning and programming documents from 2025 to be incorporated and or considered into the final design. • Develop detailed architectural and engineering plans considering functionality, space utilization, flexibility, sustainability, programmatic, and aesthetic needs of the campus and program. • Provide options for project delivery with a phased occupancy approach to allow for schedule compression / early work packages as necessary. • Provide innovative design solutions that enhance the user experience, and support the diverse needs of UNM and the School of Medicine. • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards as well as University of New Mexico Guidelines and Standards. • Conduct a cost analysis throughout the project and recommend adjustments to ensure budget compliance and project completion feasibility In consideration of New Mexico Executive Order 2006-001, USGBC LEED Silver v4 design criteria and methodologies should be applied where possible, however with available scope, opportunities may be limited to achieve certification.
