• Double the buying power of supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) participants through a program to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at New Mexico farmers’ markets and other participating locations. • Provide SNAP recipients, receiving electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards, tokens (*see note) to use at any participating farmers’ market, farm stand, mobile market, CSA, or grocery store. Note: *There will be a preference for benefits transferred via an online system rather than tokens. The participating location should provide a dollar-for-dollar match in Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB). (Some outlets may have a limit for daily DUFB purchases, others may not.) Depending on the proposals received, NMDA will determine if more than one contract will be awarded.
