Duct Construction: stainless steel pipe exhaust (304 or 316), nominal Ø400 mm or 16 inch flanged of sufficient length for flow conditioning (before and after sensors). 2× 90° bends, discharge cowl; pipe supports; expansion joints as required. 3.Duct insert section(s): stainless steel pipe section(s) to insert to calorimetery sensors. 4.Fan: stainless steel centrifugal, up to 3.5 m³/s @ up to 300 °C, VFD/inverter control; duty cycle 100% @ 300°C for 30-minute continuous minimum, provide fan curve for efficiency (50% or better under room temperature conditions) 5. Hood: Stainless steel 3.0 m × 3.0 m, 4× 1 m skirts; to connect to exhaust pipe. B. Sensors (all sensor must be able to perform function in system) 1. Gas Analysis Instrumentation, Oxygen (0-25%), Carbon Dioxide (0-10%), Carbon Monoxide (0-1%), and Humidity. 2. Heat Flux: Schmidt-Boelter or Gardon-type or Hukseflux; calibration to ISO/ASTM; uncertainty ≤ ±3% 3. Flow Rate: Bi-directional mass-flow meter with K-type thermocouple capable of KTvalues in accordance with ASTEM 603. 4. Platform weighing system up to 300 kg. 5. Gas conditioning: spark arrest, soot filtration, pump, and appurtenances C. Ignitors 1.Sand burner (propane) ISO 9705 with connections to standard propane fitting in US. D. Data Acquisition (DAQ) 1. Integrate all sensors into a synchronized sampling to produce heat flux, heat release rate, and ignition indication. 2. Provide channels in DAQ for all sensors and plus two or more for (thermocouple for smoke and Smoke density/white ligh Photometer). E. Software 1.Software integrated to receive all data from DAQ and processing to output heat flux, oxygen consumption, and heat release rate. 2. Applicable software license(s) F. Installation 1. No installation costs at this time G. Appurtenances: 1.System shall include are parts, sensors, fitting, cables, connections, connectors, calibration certificates, plugs, wires, unique tools (to system, for installation and maintenance) to preform ISO 9705 / NFPA 286 (excluding A2 burner in options). 2.
