Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure multiple contracts for tobacco use prevention and control initiatives in New Mexico. Offerors will propose objectives and activities that are aligned with the goals and objectives of the Tobacco Use Prevention and Control (TUPAC) Program. TUPAC Program Goals for New Mexico are as follows: 1. Prevent Tobacco Use Initiation Among Youth 2. Promote Quitting Among Adults and Youth Who Use Tobacco 3. Eliminate Exposure to Secondhand Smoke 4. Identify and Eliminate Tobacco-Related Disparities Among Population Groups Contracts will be funded under this RFP that mobilize communities through education, advocacy and relationship-building to promote policy development to reduce tobacco-related disease. Contracts will also be funded to specifically reduce tobacco-related disparities through initiatives that reach, involve, and mobilize priority populations, as identified by TUPAC
