Specifications include, but are not limited to: Entertainment • Producer shall scout, book, manage, and compensate talent to perform at each event. The total budget for the Annual Entertainment Season is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00 depending on events submitted by selected Producer.; • Talent must be approved by the Village prior to booking.; • Talent shall be professional quality with sufficient experience to perform in the environment and in line with the demographics of the Village of Ruidoso.; Event Management The Village’s intent is to hire a qualified firm capable of turnkey production of the Annual Entertainment Series including logistics, marketing, promotion, tasks, labor, and entertainment. All Production Services proposed shall be in accordance with the following specifications: • Sound and Lighting: The Producer will contract or provide all staging, lighting, and sound reinforcement equipment necessary to produce the event. Producer shall provide all labor, required for running the event, including sound engineers, technicians, security, ticketing and customer service personnel, and any other necessary staff.; • The Producer should utilize a sound system that can produce professional sound quality for the production space throughout the entire venue(s).; • All sound and lighting equipment should be state of the art or a reasonable equivalent, in good condition, and well maintained.; Promotion, Marketing, and Ticketing • The Producer is responsible for development of all promotion and marketing for the events. The Village of Ruidoso will aid in promotion through its social media channels, radio station, and other mechanisms available.; • The Producer shall be responsible for all ticket sales, including pre-event online sales and box office sales during the event. The Producer shall provide a embed code or link to their online ticketing portal so that the link may be made available through the various official websites and social media channels managed by the Village of Ruidoso. A revenue sharing plan, for both ticket sales and vendor sales, will be expected as part of this proposal.
