2.1 Review and understand the current version of the NMDOT Pavement Distress Data Quality Management Plan (DQMP). The DQMP items included in 23CFR 490.319 (C) are: • Data Collection equipment, calibration, and certification. • Certification process for persons performing manual data collection • Data quality control measures conducted both before data collection begins and periodically during the data collection program. • Data sampling, review, and checking processes; and error resolution procedures and data acceptance criteria. • Rater Evaluator Certification Exam • NMDOT Data Collection Manual 2.2 Evaluate the current QC/QA process for pavement condition data collection project and its conformity with the DQMP. 2.3 Support the NMDOT effort in the QC/QA acceptance process and take the role of Independent Verifier (IV) explained in the plan. Independent Verifier (IV) is defined as an unbiased independent reviewer of pavement condition results to determine compliance with the defined quality acceptance criteria.
