Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provide public transportation services for Doña Ana County (DAC) adults seeking Project H.O.M.E program services on the days of Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Friday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and on observed holidays or pre-approved Special Events from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. The observed holidays shall include: The 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year’s Eve and Day. Special Events may include: Halloween, Cinco de Mayo, St. Patrick’s Day, Superbowl, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Wine/Beer Fest, or other special events as identified. B. Be required to obtain prior approval for Special Events, not listed above, from the DAC Health and Human Services (HHS) department. C. Pick up rider(s) from liquor-selling establishments where alcohol is consumed, such as a nightclub, dance hall, restaurant, hotel, or house party where individuals will be taken to a final residence or hotel. Riders shall not be transported from one liquor establishment to another. D. Shall provide project H.O.M.E services to those who are under the influence of alcohol at the time of requested transportation to reduce the number of alcohol-related drinking and driving crashes, injuries and deaths in Dona Ana County. E. Provide ADA compliant transportation services utilizing a vehicle with a lift when needed for persons with disabilities who are under the influence of alcohol at the time of requested transportation. F. Provide return rides to vehicles as requested. G. Agrees to provide transportation services with a starting point and final destination with no intermediate stops. The program shall not provide services for riders requesting transport from one bar, night club, dance hall, restaurant, hotel, or house party to another. H. Collect $5.00 for one (1) or two (2) passengers and $10.00 for three (3) or more passengers for each trip provided, and deduct these amounts from the total fare charged to the County. I. Provide Home to Bar transportation services within the Las Cruces City Limits. Services shall be from home to bar or alcohol serving location. Home to Bar services shall be provided Friday and Saturday only from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
